New Solidarity for Housing (SNL): 25 years of fighting against inadequate housing in Ile-de-France
Since 1988, SNL has supported people in precarious situations in accessing sustainable housing. During stays in SNL housing, volunteers from the Local Solidarity Group (GLS) and employed social workers help tenants who are being integrated to take ownership of their housing, to integrate into the neighbourhood and carry out their administrative procedures.

The Habitat and Humanisme movement develops adapted housing solutions to meet new forms of insecurity. Since 1992, the team of employees and the local volunteer group from the 15th arrondissement of Paris have helped families and people on their own in their process of integrating with society by accessing independent accommodation in the heart of the city.

Since 2010, the Association Aux Captifs La Libération (For Captives, Liberation) offers a Stabilising Accommodation Centre (CHS) to homeless people. Support in their rehabilitation is provided by both an educational team and by volunteers who live together with the residents. This house-sharing creates an authentic interpersonal relationship that promotes the pathway to socialisation and rebuilding.
Relais Jeunes 77: for sustainable access to housing
Since 1984, Relais Young 77 has offered temporary housing solutions to young adults (18-30 years old), on the condition that they have a professional, personal or residential project. To do this, the association welcomes, informs and directs its residents along their pathway to independence and socialisation.

Through its "A new room to better develop yourself" programme, the Parisian association, Les p’tits chantiers de la vie (“The little life projects”), offers to renovate and decorate the bedrooms of disadvantaged children in order to promote their flourishment and school success.
Un toit à Partager: a method for inter-generational accommodation in Lille
The project, Un toit à Partager (A Roof to Share), has been run in the Lille metropole since 2009 by the Association Générations and Cultures. This cohabitation allows firstly for young people to live cheaply and secondly to end the isolation of old people.

The "Coup de pouce habitat" project (A Helping Hand with Housing) by the Pact Metropole Nord is involved in the renovation of housing for families in financial difficulty. This measure, combining individual and collective actions, aims for the sustainable integration through housing by helping the people supported to take ownership, participate and be involved in the project.
Since 2015, the association Point Service aux Particuliers uses a model apartment to teach tenants in a fun way, good gestures and practices to live better in their homes and reduce costs related to energy consumption (water, electricity, heating...). This development takes the form of visits, workshops and meetings.
